- Royal Caribbean seeking godmother for Harmony of the Seas
- South Florida residents can suggest living women who mentor or teach
Royal Caribbean is seeking a teacher from South Florida as godmother for the world’s largest cruise ship, Harmony of the Seas, this November in Fort Lauderdale.
For the launch they are looking for a godmother, partnering with South Florida ABC affiliate Local 10 to look for a woman to take office.
Aspirants to the role should be teachers or mentors inspiring the next generation to make a difference to the world, and challenge the status quo. The winner will participate as godmother during the ship’s official naming ceremony on November 10th.

Students can, nominate their teachers. The chosen godmother receive a two night pre-inaugural cruise with three guests, and a future seven-night cruise for two. They will receive a €22,145 ($25,000) grant to their school or non-profit organization. Bibbidy bobbidy boo, indeed.
