Harvey’s Point 12th in Europe & Pax Guesthouse 2nd in world in Tripadvisor Reader’s Choice Awards 2019

The Deirdre McGlone-managed Harvey’s Point hotel in  Donegal regained the best in Ireland spot in the Tripadvisor Reader’s Choice Awards 2019 and finished 12th in Europe

Eleven Irish hotels won places on the top 25 World and European lists. Bishop’s Gate hotel in Derry finished 15th in Europe and Killarney Park 24th in Europe.

Pax Guest House in Dingle finished second in the world and Doonmore Hotel Inishbofin fourth in the world in the bargain hotels category. Pax Guest house finished third in the world in the service category and 13th in Europe in the romance category.

Ballyfin finished fifth in Europe,  Castlewood House Dingle eighth in Europe and Heaton’s Guesthouse Dingle 16th in Europe in the small hotels category.  Ballyfin finished 15th in Europe in the luxury hotels category. Creevah Heights in Carrowmore-Lacken finished ninth in the world in the bed and breakfast category.

Killarney Park won the top spot from Harvey’s Point last year. Kelly’s in Rosslare was again voted Ireland;s best family hotel. The Hotel Belvedere in Riccione Italy won the best in Europe. See full award winners here.
