Ryanair has said it would end its interest in Italy’s Alitalia to help “eliminate all management distractions”.
The airline had intended to submit a binding bid for Alitalia in December.
I a written statement the airlines said “we have notified the Alitalia bankruptcy Commissioners that we will not be pursuing our interest in Alitalia or submitting any further offers for the airline,”
