Leinster and Munster fans appear equally confident of reaching this year’s Champions Cup Rugby Final, with Ryanair adding two more flights to Spain in time for the showdown.
It’s running additional flights to Santander next month, with the final itself being held 75km away in Bilbao. Ryanair said it’s adding the flights “following huge demand from Leinster and Munster rugby fans”.
An all-Irish final remains a possibility with Leinster and Munster facing Scarlets and Racing 92 respectively in the semi-finals.
Ryanair’s extra Champions Cup Final specials will depart Dublin at 05.55hrs on Saturday, May 12, and return from Santander at 14.50hrs on Sunday, May 13. The airline said seats are limited and selling fast.
Earlier in the week it followed Aer Lingus in laying on extra flights for Munster fans heading to the semi-final in Bordeaux. The extra flight departs Cork at 13.40hrs on Friday, April 20, and retursn from Bordeaux at 10.05hrs on Monday, April 23.
