Shannon Heritage are re-enacting an American Wake at Bunratty Castle. A statement from Shannon group said “Our harvest day has become a firm favourite and attracts people from all over the country. This year we wanted to introduce a new attraction. Given that the Folk Par is dedicated to recreating life in rural Ireland over 100 years ao, an American Wake was a natural choice. “
