Guernsey Ports reached the agreement with owners of two ATR72s formerly operated by the Blue Islands.
The settlement resolved most of the debt and released the turboprops. The aircraft G-ISLM and G-ISLP remained parked in Guernsey since 14 November 2025. Three other ATR72-500s ferried out of Jersey in early December.
Mark Helyar shared “It has involved some very complex, detailed discussions with the owners of these aircraft, with expert legal assistance being provided by the Law Officers. As a result, we have now reached a settlement that is very positive for the island.”
