Southwest Airlines has confirmed its partnership with Turkish Airlines, set to launch in early 2026, will give the US regional airline worldwide reach for the first time.
The agreement enables passengers to book single-ticket journeys linking Southwest’s U.S. network to Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul hub. Travellers can access 350 destinations in 132 countries via Istanbul. Ten U.S. airports functioned as gateways for seamless connections. The deal represented Southwest’s sixth international partnership in 2025.
