ALC delivers first of four A321XLRs to Uzbekistan’s Qanot Sharq

The Qanot Sharq. one of Uzbekistan’s leading private passenger airlines, took the delivery of the first of four A321XLR aircraft via the long-term lease agreement with Dublin-based Air Lease Corporation.

The delivery reinforced the airline ambition to modernise the fleet and expand the international route network operating the new routes to the key markets across the Asia including the Sanya and Busan and New York City via the Budapest enhancing the connectivity across the Asia-Pacific and Europe.

The aircraft are powered by the CFM LEAP-1A engines configured with the 190 seats in the two-class layout featuring the 16 full-flat Business Class and 174 Economy Class seats, offering passengers and cabin crew the comfort of the Airbus Airspace Cabin featuring the XL overhead bins with 60pc more storage space compared to the previous generation aircraft and in-seat connectivity available to the all passengers with the latest lighting system.

The A321XLR delivers the Xtra Long Range of up to 4,700nm 15pc more range than the A321LR and 30pc lower fuel burn per seat compared with the previous generation competitor aircraft with the reduced NOx emissions and noise operating with up to 50pc Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
