A Chinese National Liu Ming was sxentenced to 20 months in jail for luggage theft attempt on Singapore Airlines flight from Dubai to Singapore.
The 26-year-old Liu took Azerbaijani couple’s luggage worth over €66,000 which he says was by mistake when confronted by the victim’s wife mid-flight. He returned the bag.
Authorities arrested Liu at Changi Airport. He pleaded guilty to theft charge.
