Eurocontrol has revealed that 11.12m flights took place in the European network for 2025, up 4pc from 2024 and slightly above 2019.
Average daily flights reached 30,474 from 29,207. Traffic increased across most busy states, airline groups, and airports.Arrival punctuality hit 76.1pc, up 3.5 percentage points despite more traffic. Air traffic flow management delays fell 17pc to 2.4 minutes per flight, mainly from fewer weather issues.
