Eindhoven Airport implemented its ban on business aircraft from 1 January 2026 following the November 2023 decision. The policy forms part of efforts to cut carbon dioxide emissions and noise by 30pc. Several aircraft relocated after the ban including a Global 5000 from FLYINGGROUP to Rotterdam, a Legacy 500 from ASL Group to Amsterdam Schiphol, and a Legacy 600 from JetNetherlands to Rotterdam.

The airport set a flight cap at 41,500 operations slightly above the planned 40,500 limit. It continues as a joint-use military base with Royal Netherlands Air Force presence including a G650(ER) for VIP transport.

Operators including FLYINGGROUP, ASL Group, and Exxaero received outreach on impacts but provided no response. The measure targets private jet movements while preserving military functions. Relocations demonstrate immediate operational adjustments by based companies. The ban applies specifically to business aviation categories. Eindhoven Airport maintains its dual civil-military status.
