United Airlines Converts 56 B787-9 Orders to B787-10s

United Airlines converted fifty-six B787-9 orders to B787-10s with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028. The carrier had not yet selected an engine as General Electric and Rolls-Royce continued negotiations. United Airlines’ order comprised eighty-four B787-9s and fifty-six B787-10s. 

The airline also held outstanding orders for 102 B737-9s 165 B737-10s 120 A321-200NX fifty A321-200NY(XLR)s and forty-five A350-900s. United Airlines operated twelve B787-8s forty-eight B787-9s and twenty-one B787-10s in its widebody fleet.
