Royal Air Maroc confirmed an agreement to lease thirteen new Boeing 737-8s from DAE Capital with deliveries scheduled for 2027. The deal extends a prior arrangement for two 737-8s delivered in 2025 and supports fleet growth ahead of 200 ordered aircraft starting in 2028. The airline plans to lease one-third of its fleet by 2035.

The carrier dry-leases thirteen 737-8s currently with one more pending and operates twenty-eight 737-800s. Wet-leases of A320s from Heston Airlines and Avion Express Malta address winter capacity needs. The total in-house fleet stands at sixty-one aircraft.

Firoz Tarapore shared the agreement underscores confidence in Morocco’s growing tourism and business markets. Abdelhamid Addou shared the aircraft will boost efficiency, flexibility, and route development across Africa, Europe, and beyond.
