Spain anticipates strong international aviation capacity for February 2026, with over 8.14m seats on inbound flights, marking a 3.5pc increase from the previous year according to Turespaña data released recently.
This growth reflects sustained demand for travel to the country, building on the record 97m international tourists and more than €134bn in spending achieved in 2025, including three million visits form Ireland for the first time.
The figures signal continued recovery and expansion in air connectivity, particularly supporting key tourism regions during the winter and early spring period.
