AirNav Ireland celebrates graduation of 32 students in aviation disciplines

AirNav Ireland marked the graduation of 32 students from its Air Navigation and Engineering Services programmes comprising 14 Air Traffic Control Officers 15 Air Traffic Safety Electronics Engineers and three Aviation Radio Officers. The graduates have completed internationally recognised training and now join the workforce managing Irish airspace safety and efficiency across almost 500000 square kilometres including services for Dublin Cork and Shannon airports plus North Atlantic traffic. The event underscores the organisation’s ongoing commitment to aviation safety and professional development. 

The main elements cover graduation of 32 students across three disciplines, inclusion of 14 air traffic control officers, 15 safety electronics engineers and three radio officers, completion of recognised training programmes, role in managing Irish-controlled airspace and airports, and recruitment ongoing for similar positions.

Chief Executive of AirNav Ireland Gerard Caffrey shared “Today’s graduates represent a significant investment in the future of Irish aviation. Their achievement reflects the professionalism of our instructors the commitment of our trainees and our continued focus on developing world-class aviation professionals to support the safe and efficient management of Irish airspace”.
