Aer Lingus has opened applications for its 2026 Aircraft Engineer Apprenticeship Programme until 1 March. The four-year programme, partnered with SOLAS, Technological University Dublin, and South East Technological University, combines practical experience with study towards EASA licence qualification. Apprentices begin in Dublin, spend nine months in Shannon, then return to Dublin for supervised work alongside experienced engineers.

Graduates gain opportunities in Aer Lingus’ Maintenance & Engineering department on a modern fleet including A330, A320, A321LR, and A321XLR aircraft. Participants earn while learning through a structured pay scale. Candidates must be at least 18 by 1 September 2026 and apply online with a CV, followed by assessment and interview if criteria are met.
