IATA WLS to Address Liability Challenges in Global Aviation

The International Air Transport Association will host the 2026 World Legal Symposium from 17 to 19 February in Warsaw, Poland, hosted by LOT Polish Airlines. The theme, Liability in a Changing World, will explore emerging legal challenges in aviation. Discussions will cover passenger rights, cargo liability, and environmental responsibilities.

The event aims to facilitate dialogue among legal experts, regulators, and industry leaders. It addresses the evolving regulatory landscape and its impact on operations. Key topics include harmonising liability regimes and adapting to new technologies.

Workshops and sessions will provide insights into managing risks and ensuring compliance. The symposium underscores the importance of legal frameworks in supporting safe and efficient aviation.
