American Airlines has chosen CFM International LEAP-1A engines for remaining A321neo orders.
The carrier already operated ten A321-200Ns, seventy-five A321-200NXs, and four A321-200NY(XLR)s with CFM engines.
It held orders for 103 standard-range and forty-six XLR units from Airbus. The airline’s ninety-three B737-8s used CFM LEAP-1B engines. Seven more B737-8s remain due for delivery.
