Vietjet Air launches first European Route

Vietjet Air has launched its first scheduled services to Europe with twice weekly flights connecting Hanoi and Prague starting from 10 October 2026. The Airbus A330 operated route includes a technical stop in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Departures from Hanoi occur at 08:25 local time with arrivals in Prague at 18:55 while return flights leave Prague at 20:55 and reach Hanoi the following day at 16:20.

Prague Airport chief executive Jiri Pos shared that more than 75,000 passengers travelled between the two cities in 2025. The sizeable Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, around 70,000 residents as of 2024, has driven demand. Connecting services through Gulf and Asian hubs previously met this traffic.

Promotional Eco fares start from $405 one way while Deluxe fares begin from $459. Skyboss business class round trip packages cost around $1,300. Vietjet chief executive Nguyen Thanh Son shared plans for additional European routes from Vietnam and Thailand.
