SMFL Helicopters has revealed a merger of LCI and Macquarie Rotorcraft Limited under Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company.
The company operates from headquarters in Dublin with offices in Limerick, London, and Singapore. SMFL Helicopters starts with a fleet of approximately 290 aircraft from manufacturers including Airbus and Leonardo.
The lessor partners with 52 operators across six continents for mission critical services such as emergency medical operations, offshore energy transport, and search and rescue.
John Petkovic serves as CEO Designate with plans to assume the full role later in 2026.
