Fuel depots of Kam Air located near Kandahar airport were destroyed during a Pakistani airstrike on the Afghan capital.
The United Nations confirmed the strikes while information about the depots being hit was relayed by the Afghan authorities.
Pakistan said its bombings had targeted support infrastructure for militant groups.
Kam Air supplies fuel to other airlines and for UN operations in the country. The strikes resulted in the loss of over 1,600 tons of aviation fuel according to reports.
