ITA Airways has confirmed the closure of its Volare frequent flyer programme. Members must redeem points on flights with ITA Airways and partner airlines by 30 March 2026 with bookings possible for travel after that date. Points cannot transfer to Miles and More and travellers can use them with on ground partners until 30 April 2026.
The airline will adopt Lufthansa Group Miles and More as its programme from 31 March 2026. Reward flights halt after that date and members can convert points to ITA Airways travel vouchers until 30 June 2026 at a rate of 100 euro for every 50 000 points. Club Plus members match to Frequent Traveller tier while Club Premium Club Executive and Club Executive Per Sempre members match to Senator status.
Travellers request the status match online to retain priority check in lounge access and extra baggage. The process keeps benefits uninterrupted under Star Alliance.
