Ryanair adds 4th based aircraft & expands Tirana base for Summer 2026

Ryanair is significantly expanding its Tirana base for Summer 2026, adding a 4th aircraft ($400M investment) to offer 21 new routes (44 total) from April 2026. New destinations include Dublin, Milan, Napoli, Eindhoven, and Malta, with 50pc traffic growth to 4m passengers annually. Seat sales start from €21.99. 

New Destinations include Alghero, Baden-Baden, Dublin, Eindhoven, Genoa, Malta, Milan, Memmingen, Naples, Parma, Wrocław, birning the total destinations to 44 routes.

A fourth B737-800 aircraft has been based at the airport, representing a $400m investment. Projected 50pc traffic growth will cater to 4m passengers per year. 

The expansion is supported by Albania’s zero aviation tax policy. The new routes are aimed at increasing both tourist and diaspora travel.
