Delta Air Lines has revealed its next generation Delta One suite that debuts on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in 2027. The airline retrofits its Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 fleet with sliding door suites at a cost of over $1 billion.
The A350-1000 features 53 Delta One suites and a sizable Premium Select section with almost half the plane devoted to high value seating. The lie flat bed stretches 83 inches and uses a new pillow top layer over memory foam cushioning with Missoni bedding. Every seat on the A350-1000 and retrofitted A330 planes receives upgraded 24 inch 4K QLED screens plus USB C and AC power outlets.
Delta plans to revamp its existing fleet of 42 Airbus A330 aircraft. The airline switched to Miles and More for its loyalty programme.
