Flexjet Ireland applies for US foreign air carrier permit

Business jet operators Flexjet Ireland has applied to the United States Department of Transportation for a foreign air carrier permit and exemption. The company has sought approval to operate passenger and cargo charter services between the European Union and the United States as well as other points beyond using small aircraft. Flexjet Ireland has requested expedited processing to start services as soon as possible.

The operator has secured its air operator’s certificate in late 2025 with a single Praetor 600 aircraft which remains its sole aircraft. Flexjet Operations in Malta and the United Kingdom already hold United States foreign air carrier permits. The application has covered operations with small aircraft.
