AirHelp data has revealed connection reliability scores airports with major hubs including Heathrow and Dublin record lower performance for missed connections. Smaller regional airports achieve higher scores.
Heathrow received 4.69 out of 10 while Dublin scored 5.28 out of 10. Stansted recorded the lowest at 4.31 out of 10. Newcastle International led with 8.85 out of 10 followed by Belfast City at 8.18 out of 10.
The analysis examined passenger claims from connecting journeys in 2025. Factors such as volume and layout contribute to outcomes at busy sites.
