Air Canada launches Budapest Toronto direct service

Air Canada has introduced a new direct flight between Budapest and Toronto that operates five times weekly during the summer season. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner serves the route from 6 June to 24 October 2026 with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The service provides 47,680 seats between Ferenc Liszt International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport over the period.

Flights take nine hours with Toronto departures at 7:00 p.m. local time arriving Budapest at 9:40 a.m. the next day. Return flights leave Budapest at 11:45 a.m. and reach Toronto at 3:05 p.m. The route offers connections to other Canadian cities, North American destinations and locations in the Caribbean, Hawaii and South America. Nearly 90,000 passengers already travel between the two countries each year.
