A former night porter at a Kerry hotel has received €5,000 from the Workplace Relations Commission after discriminatory treatment. The worker claimed his duties transferred to Ukrainian staff engaged at lower costs.
Thomas O’Reilly worked at the Derrynane Hotel for two and a half years. The WRC upheld his complaint against the hotel owners.
