AerClub members in Ireland have started collecting Avios points on Uber Eats orders as part of an expanded partnership. The initiative allows users to earn rewards on food deliveries that they link to future travel.
Uber Eats customers in Ireland link their AerClub accounts in the app settings section. They collect 1 Avios for every €1 spent on orders over €25 from 22 June 2026. Those who already collect Avios on Uber rides do not need to relink accounts. Matthew Price serves as Regional General Manager for Uber Eats in Ireland and Northern Europe. Rob McDonald acts as Chief Commercial Officer at IAG Loyalty. Susanne Carberry holds the position of Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus.
The partnership covers takeaway orders while it excludes alcoholic beverages and grocery orders in both jurisdictions. Avios functions as the loyalty currency for Aer Lingus, British Airways and partner airlines. Members redeem points on flights, hotel stays and car hire.
