Volotea wet leases A320s for Asturias operations

• Volotea wet leased two A320-200s from Avion Express Malta.
• The aircraft ferried to Asturias airport on 28 June 2026 and 30 June 2026.
• Revenue flights started on 29 June 2026 and 1 July 2026.
• Volotea maintains additional wet leases for A319s A320s and A321s.
• Arrangements support expanded operations at the Asturias base.

Volotea has wet leased two additional A320-200s from Avion Express Malta to support operations at Asturias airport. LY-NVJ and LY-NVG arrived at the Spanish airport on 28 June 2026 and 30 June 2026. Revenue operations for the aircraft began on 29 June 2026 and 1 July 2026.

The Spanish low-cost carrier wet leases two A319-100s and one A320-200 from Carpatair plus one A321-200 from Fly2Sky. These arrangements expand capacity at the Asturias base. Volotea bases operations at Barcelona El Prat.
