Avia Solutions Group has appointed Zilvinas Lapinskas as Chief Executive Officer effective 7 July. Lapinskas brings international aviation experience to the role at the world’s largest ACMI provider.
He previously served as CEO of FL Technics Group where he expanded operations to serve Tier 1 carriers across continents. Jonas Janukenas, who led the group for almost 9 years, moved into the Chief Financial Officer position. Lapinskas retains his seat on the board of directors and continues as CEO of FL Technics until the end of July.
The group operates a fleet of 136 aircraft and over 250 subsidiaries with 11,000 professionals across 6 continents. It provides MRO services, pilot training, ground handling and other aviation solutions.
