TUI fly has decided to close its base at Antwerp airport on 25 March 2027. The Belgian leisure carrier focuses operations at Brussels National and Ostend to improve efficiency and fleet utilisation. No job losses result from the change.

The airline currently deploys E195-E2 regional jets from Antwerp. These aircraft redeploy to other routes after the closure. Antwerp airport seeks new operators and plans to expand general aviation, military and humanitarian activities. The move will concentrate Belgian operations at two main airports.
