Wizz Air has announced it will open a base at Pristina in November 2026, stationing one A321-200NX at the base. The low-cost carrier will launch three new routes from Pristina: to Brussels Charleroi, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg. Wizz Air first began serving Pristina in 2017 after securing a PSO contract from the Hungarian government.
The new base represents an expansion of Wizz Air’s operations in the Balkans. The airline has been growing its presence in the region with bases in several countries. The A321-200NX offers longer range and higher capacity than the A320.
