Spain is preparing for a busy August with 14.1m seats scheduled on international flights, a 7.2pc rise on the previous year according to Turespaña data released by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
Emgland leads growth among major markets with an 8.1pc increase in seats while Italy rises by 10.9pc. Poland stands out with projected growth above 30pc and Turkey advances by 22.9pc. The United States shows a more moderate 2.8pc rise. Mexico and Colombia also expand capacity among Latin American markets.
The figures point to strong connectivity in peak summer and support expectations of high visitor numbers across Spanish destinations.
