Emirates will introduce daily Airbus A350 flights on the Dubai-Kuala Lumpur route from 1 September 2026, operating as EK344/345. The aircraft joins existing retrofitted Boeing 777 and A380 services, making Kuala Lumpur one of the few destinations served by all three flagship types. The A350 configuration includes 32 Business Class, 28 Premium Economy and 238 Economy seats, lifting daily Premium Economy capacity on the route to 52 seats when combined with the 777. Features include lie-flat Business seats, 4K entertainment and satellite Wi-Fi.

The move marks 30 years of Emirates service to Malaysia, with the A350 deployment representing a significant capacity increase on the route. The aircraft’s modern features have enhanced passenger experience with advanced entertainment systems and connectivity. Kuala Lumpur has become one of the select destinations to receive all three of Emirates’ flagship aircraft types, demonstrating the route’s importance to the airline’s network.

The A350’s deployment has increased Premium Economy capacity on the Kuala Lumpur route to 52 seats daily when combined with the Boeing 777 service. The A380 services on the route have offered additional capacity with the airline’s flagship product. The route has served as a key Southeast Asian gateway for Emirates’ global network.
