Wizz Air is launching a new winter route from London Gatwick to Hurghada, Egypt, making it the airline’s second Egyptian destination from the airport. Flights are scheduled to begin on 11 January 2027 and will operate once a week on Mondays. One-way fares start from £91.99. The addition of Hurghada builds upon the budget carrier’s existing network to Egypt from London Gatwick, where it already operates flights to Sharm El Sheikh.
From London Luton, Wizz Air also operates flights to Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Cairo. Tickets for the new flight are available for purchase on the Wizz Air website or through the mobile app. The expansion provides more options for travellers seeking winter sun destinations.
