TwinkleTown is expanding across Dublin City this Christmas, with a new festive experience at St Patrick’s Park joining the returning TwinkleTown at Smithfield Square for 2026. Produced by Archetype in partnership with Dublin City Council, the two free-to-enter Christmas destinations bring skating, fairground fun and family entertainment to TwinkleTown Smithfield Square, while TwinkleTown St Patrick’s Park is transformed for the first time with lighting, Christmas-themed carousels and choral performances from Sing Ireland. TwinkleTown Smithfield Square runs from 20 November to 31 December, while TwinkleTown St Patrick’s Park runs from 27 November to 23 December.
For the first time, St Patrick’s Park is transformed into a festive destination built around light, music and its historic surroundings. Visitors to TwinkleTown St Patrick’s Park can wander through the illuminated park, take a turn on Christmas-themed carousels, browse gifts from Irish makers and craftspeople, and enjoy festive food and drinks against one of Dublin’s most distinctive historic backdrops. Music is central to the new experience. In partnership with Sing Ireland, choirs from across the country bring the park to life throughout the season with choral performances celebrating music, community and Christmas tradition.
At TwinkleTown Smithfield Square, the covered ice-skating rink returns alongside the Santo Panto for little ones, the Big Wheel, vintage funfair, live music and TwinkleTavern. Visitors can also enjoy festive food and flavours from around the world and browse the Irish makers and craft market for locally made Christmas gifts. Accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of TwinkleTown. Both locations are free to enter, with accessible and sensory-friendly experiences embedded in the programme. At Smithfield Square, these include sensory-friendly ice-skating sessions, selected neurodivergent-friendly Santo Panto performances and ISL-interpreted performances. Ice Skating tickets start from €8.75. Santo Panto tickets are €5.50 per person, including a small gift for young children.
