Fáilte Ireland has published visitor attraction survey data for 2024 showing the most visited attractions in Ireland. The data reveals that visitor numbers are led by major sites in Dublin and Clare. Phoenix Park Visitor Centre tops the list with 1,741,588 visitors, followed by Guinness Storehouse with 1,595,372 visitors and Cliffs of Moher with 1,490,000 visitors. Dublin Zoo recorded 1,165,009 visitors, the National Gallery of Ireland recorded 1,058,259 visitors and The Book of Kells at Trinity College recorded 968,666 visitors.
Emerald Park in Meath recorded 810,000 visitors, Muckross House Gardens in Kerry recorded 779,846 visitors, Dublin Castle recorded 727,189 visitors and the Irish Museum of Modern Art recorded 622,678 visitors. The Guinness Storehouse relies heavily on international tourism, with 87pc of its visitors coming from abroad. Dublin Zoo saw 94pc of its attendance arrive from within Ireland. The Fáilte Ireland Visitor Numbers Dashboard tracks both free and fee-paying models. Free attractions like the Phoenix Park grounds and the National Gallery of Ireland remain major volume drivers alongside top tier fee-paying experiences.
