An official committee of unsecured creditors has been revealed as part of airBaltic’s Chapter 11 restructuring process, according to documents filed with the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The five-member committee comprises Airbus Canada, lessor Jackson Square Aviation Ireland Limited, AVAP Leasing (Europe) VI Pte. Ltd. which is a subsidiary of Singapore-based lessor Avation, Estonia’s state-owned airport company AS Tallinna Lennujaam, and Lithuanian state-owned airport operator JSC Lithuanian Airports. It will represent unsecured creditors during the restructuring, with the first creditors’ meeting scheduled for 22 October 2026.
