Some €4.2bn through the National Development Plan will provide for investment in DART+, BusConnects and the Cork commuter rail projects. Road projects including the Adare Bypass, the Galway Ring Road and the M28 road from Cork to Ringaskiddy will also receive funding. The transport allocation forms part of Budget 2027 measures.
