The event is organised in partnership by Dublin Town, Dublin City Council and Fáilte Ireland, and is supported by An Garda Síochána. It also marks a milestone for Dublin as it celebrates the capital retaining its Purple Flag status, awarded to cities providing a safe, welcoming and vibrant evening and night-time economy. Event-goers can expect live music, DJs, pop-up performances, street entertainment, interactive installations, food from Dublin’s restaurants and cafes, and cookery demonstrations.

Dublin By Night Fest is a free annual celebration of Dublin after dark. Dublin has received Purple Flag status every year since 2013. Full programme details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Lord Mayor of Dublin Daryl Barron shared “Dublin By Night Fest is all about celebrating the energy, creativity and atmosphere that make Dublin one of Europe’s great night-time destinations. Whether you’re heading in for music, culture, food, shopping or simply to soak up the atmosphere, there will be something happening around every corner. I’d invite anyone to come into the city and experience this event for themselves.”
