Limerick launches three-week Halloween festival

Limerick has launched its three-week Halloween in Limerick 2026 programme. The festival runs from 11 October to 1 November 2026. It forms part of the national Ireland Home of Halloween tourism initiative led by Fáilte Ireland.

The programme includes family events, folklore, food, street theatre, pumpkin patches, and after-dark experiences. Limerick is one of seven featured national destinations. Opening weekend events include a Spooky Vehicle Run in Pallaskenry on 11 October and Samhain at the Crossroads in Kilfinane from 12 October. The Scare Factory at Cleeves reopens from 15 October.

City experiences include Morbid & Sons Street Theatre on Nicholas Street on 17 and 24 October. The Trick or Treat City Trail runs across 24 to 26 October and 30 to 31 October. Samhain Tales at the Museum takes place at The People’s Museum of Limerick on 31 October. Family events include Woodlands Pumpkin Patch in Adare and Halloween Funderland at Groody Road. The Limerick Harvest Festival takes place at The Milk Market on 25 October.
