
India’s e-Visa was reintroduced in December 2022. The visa is valid for entry through from 24 designated airports (i.e. Bangalore, Bagdogra, Coimbatore, Chennai, Chandigarh, Calicut, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Gaya, Jaipur, Lucknow, Trichy and Varanasi) and 3 designated seaports (i.e. Mangalore, Cochin and Marmago).
Exit is possible from any of the authorized Immigration Check Posts (ICPs) in India. The e-Visa scheme entails capture of biometric data of the visitor on arrival at the airport.
Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.

The e-Visa scheme includes three categories: e-Tourist Visa, e-Business Visa, and e-Medical Visa.
