November passenger numbers at Ryanair were 11.7m up 6.4pc on pre pandemic Nov 2019 and up 4pc on Nov 2022
Rolling annual 180.8m passengers up 19.1pc on the pre pandemic rolling annual figure in November 2019.
The Rolling annual figure is the largest in Europe by margin of 61.6m ahead of the Lufthansa group 119.2m. Lufthansa are stil 10pc behind pre pandemic passenger levels and in danger of being overtaken in second place by a combined Ari Farnce/KLM and SAS airline, although Lufthansa is also closing in on ITA (9m passengers).
Ryanair are likely now the third largest airline in the world by passenger numbers, behind American and Delta and ahead of Southwest.
Load factor for November was 92pc, back to levels of last February and comparable with 2022, BUT well short of 96pc in November 2017, 2018 and 2019. If Ryanair load factor was performing at that level actual passenger numbers for November would be 12.2m.
Ryanair operated over 66,400 flights in November 2023. Over 960 flights cancelled due to Israel/Gaza conflict.
