Aircraft maintenance firm Omega Aviation Services Ltd, owned by Ulick and Des McEvaddy, has returned to profit.

The company recorded pre-tax profits of €2.4m in 2021, a significant improvement from the pre-tax losses of €52,692 in 2020.

The McEvaddys and other co-owners are offering their 105-acre land for sale and have rejected a €75m bid from DAA, the operators of Dublin Airport.

The directors emphasize the company’s strong cost structure and state that the ongoing pandemic has had a minor impact on its operations and financial status.
