Trips by residents of Ireland to Spain increased by 18.1pc for the first six months of 2024. Trips in June were 16pc ahead of June 2023.
If the trend continues for the second six months of the year, Ireland will send 2.9m visitors to Spain in 2024.
Spain received 9.3m international tourists in June, up 12.1pc on June 2023.
In the first six months of 2024 the number of tourists increased by 13.3pc.
