Dublin Airport has launched a series of live music performances in Terminal 2, featuring local musicians every Friday for the next four weeks, starting with the band Keywest.

Collaborating with The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO), the initiative, titled “T2: Sounds of Home,” celebrates Ireland’s musical talent and aims to enhance the atmosphere for travelers.

The performances will showcase a diverse lineup of artists, spanning traditional to contemporary music, providing entertainment for passengers while they wait.

The schedule includes notable acts such as Lemoncello, Big Sleep, Dave Lofts, Toshín, FILMORE!, and Rachel Mae Hannon, with the goal of making arrivals and departures at Dublin Airport more memorable.

Graeme McQueen, Head of Media Relations at daa, the operator of Dublin Airport shared “what better soundtrack to accompany all that takes place than some of Ireland’s best up-and-coming music artists. At Dublin Airport, we’re all about the special welcome. Tens of thousands of people walk through our doors every single day, and you see every kind of emotion in our terminals, from tearful goodbyes to joyous reunions and everything in between. We’re thrilled to be teaming up with IMRO to bring live music into T2 for the month of October, and we believe passengers are going to love hearing great music every Friday as they move through the airport.”
