Dublin Airport is projected to handle approximately 29.5m passengers during the summer season of 2025, a significant increase due to the suspension of a planned passenger cap.
The summer scheduling season will run from March 30 to October 25, 2025, with enhanced flight offerings contributing to passenger growth.
New routes from Aer Lingus to Nashville and Indianapolis, along with Delta Airlines’ service to Detroit, are expected to boost traffic levels further.
Despite these optimistic projections, the new report indicates that the total number of available seats will still be lower compared to the summer of 2024, reflecting ongoing challenges in the aviation sector.
