Dublin Airport plans to hire up to 100 new security officers, responding to past criticisms of staff shortages and long passenger delays.

Dublin airport MD Gary McLean shared: “Passenger satisfaction scores in 2024 have been at record high levels and that’s down to the hard work of the incredible team that we have working here at Dublin Airport. The addition of these new security staff members will help improve the service we offer to passengers even more in 2025.”
