
Lufthansa Group has placed an additional order for five A350-1000 aircraft from Airbus, boosting its total order to 15 units for this model.
The newly ordered A350-1000s are scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2030, with the first ten units from the original order expected to start arriving in 2026.
The airline group holds an existing order for sixty A350-900s, with 28 currently in service at Lufthansa and plans for 10 units to be allocated to Swiss.
Edelweiss Air will receive four new A350-900s from the group’s order, alongside an additional two units acquired from Thai Airways, further expanding the airline group’s diverse fleet.
